This course will explain the principles of cryptocurrencies, mining, storing and using cryptocurrencies, provide an overview of blockchain technology, and discuss blockchain applications in banking, finance and other industries.

This course will address the international classification of financial reporting, explain the similarities and differences in accounting principles and practices in different countries and discuss the convergence among accounting standards.

IREL-325A: Nationalism and Ethnic Politics  (View Course Syllabus)

This course will examine the history of nationalism from the French Revolution to the present, and how nationalism has forged the creation of sovereign nation states. The course will also explain the impact of nationalism as an ideology and examine how nationalism has fostered political movements.
