The Semester in Shanghai: Chinese Language offers students a rigorous language program and an in-depth sight of China. Beginner, intermediate and advanced students in Mandarin will study intensive reading, listening, speaking and writing, with the option to further study Shanghai dialect and proverbs.

Students can also take COMM-280: Intercultural Communication. This is a 3-credit, online course offered by the University of Nicosia, Cyprus. Students will attend the course online and the University of Nicosia will issue the transcripts.
