Airfare to Cyprus

Airfare from the East Coast of the United States to Cyprus can range between $800 and $1,300, depending on the season and how far in advance the ticket is purchased. Connecting flights from other cities in the United States can add between $0 and $400 to this cost. We encourage students to finalize travel arrangements as early as possible to avoid high airfares.

We designate a group flight from New York to Larnaca (airport code: LCA) for admitted students a few months before the program start date. Students can make personal flight arrangements to join us on this flight if it is convenient for them to do so.

One of our staff typically travels on the group flight and we provide free airport transfer to student housing for students that arrive on this flight. Larnaca airport is located about one hour by car from the program base in Nicosia.

Students can make travel arrangements to arrive on alternate dates or flights. Student apartments are available to students as early as the 3rd day before the official start of the program for this purpose.

Since there are no good public transportation options between Larnaca airport and Nicosia for students that arrive independently, we arrange a personal airport pickup through a taxi service for these students. Students are responsible for the additional cost of approximately $50 for this service.
