Program Description

The Summer in the Mediterranean: Greek Heritage program is designed for students who would like an introduction to Modern Greek in an immersive setting, in one of the only two Greek-speaking countries in the world. You will be based on the modern and beautiful island of Cyprus and travel to Greece and Italy in a series of fascinating and exciting excursions.

The program combines language coursework along with cultural immersion activities in Cyprus and Greece to build basic language proficiency and comprehension. There is also a small program visit to Rome.

This program is designed for students with modest or no Greek language skills and is excellent for someone that would like an introduction to Greek language, while being immersed in a Greek-speaking environment and seeing many of the highlights of Greece and Cyprus.
