Semester in Paris: Business French
Curriculum and Faculty
Most of your coursework while on this program is focused on language
acquisition, including grammar and phonetics. Regardless of background,
all students take a placement test at the beginning of the program
which will place them into the appropriate level courses, given their
language skills.
Students will additionally take one course on business French (Spring only) and one or two 3-credit business electives taught in English from the American Business School in Paris (Fall and Spring).
The Semester in Paris: Business French is
offered both in the Spring and Fall.
- Fall Semester: 12-weeks: A2 - Language and Civilization plus one or two 3-credit courses from the American Business School (14-17 credit hours)
- Spring Semester: 12-weeks: T21 - Language and Civilization, "Business French" option plus one optional course from the American Business School (12-18 credit hours)
Course Curriculum - Fall Semester
Students enrolled in the Fall Semester attend the A2 course curriculum at the Sorbonne (11 credits) and 1-2 business courses from the ABS Fall curriculum (3-6 credits).

Students
enrolled in the Spring Semester attend the T21 course curriculum at the
Sorbonne (12-15 credits) and can add one optional business course from the ABS Spring curriculum (3 credits).
