Semester in the Mediterranean: Greek Heritage
Admission Requirements
The minimum requirements* for participating on the Semester in the Mediterranean: Greek Heritage program are:
- You are currently a student in good standing at an
accredited college or university in the United States, Canada or
selected other countries
- You have maintained a minimum GPA of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale

You will have at least sophomore academic standing by the time you
participate in the program and will have completed at least one
academic year at your home institution. In other words, you can attend
this program after completing at least your freshman year in college.
* We might make limited exceptions in special circumstances. Give us a

Qualitative Factors
We are inclusive in our programs because we believe most students have
the capability to benefit from a study abroad experience. That said, we
do evaluate the following qualitative factors to ensure that you are a
good fit with the program and are qualified to have a successful
experience.
- Interest in the program topic
- Overall academic performance
- Rationale for participating in the program
- Quality of academic recommendation
- Disciplinary record / maturity
Overall, we are looking for students who we think will have the
intellectual curiosity, energy and passion for learning and travel that
will allow them to complete the academic component successfully, enjoy
the program and contribute to their classmates' learning.
