Semester in Cyprus

Semester Study Abroad Cyprus

Curriculum and Faculty

This study abroad program is a direct enrollment program at the University of Nicosia, our host institution. All courses are accredited and taught in English by our host institution's regular faculty. Students that successfully complete their coursework will receive a University of Nicosia transcript.

You can select up to five courses from any University of Nicosia courses being offered during the semester in which you are enrolled.

All applicants should aim to receive course pre-approval from their home institution.

To download a syllabus* and faculty bio for a course in PDF format, please click on a course number. If for any reason a course syllabus file is unavailable online, please contact us to request it.

Course Schedule

Students choose 4 to 5 courses from the catalog of regularly scheduled Spring and Fall semester courses offered at the University of Nicosia for a total of 12-15 credit hours.

Please download the course schedule below to view the day and time that each course is offered to ensure that your selected courses do not conflict with each other.

IMPORTANT: If you are applying for Fall 2009 or Spring 2010, you can use the corresponding 2008, 2009 course schedule below as a guide to which classes will be offered. The University of Nicosia will release the final Fall 2009 course schedule in May and the Spring 2009 course schedule in December, however, typically most of the classes offered in the previous year will be offered again. When selecting courses for credit pre-approval, you should select and pre-approve as many alternates as possible, to avoid conflicts when the actual schedule is announced.
