Curriculum and Faculty
This program is a direct enrollment program at the University of Nicosia, our host institution. All courses are accredited and taught in English by our host institution's regular faculty. Students that successfully complete their coursework will receive a University of Nicosia transcript.
You can select up to five courses from any University of Nicosia courses being offered during the semester in which you are enrolled.
All
applicants should aim to receive course pre-approval from their home
institution.

Course Schedule
Students
choose 4 to 5 courses from the catalog of regularly
scheduled Spring and Fall semester courses offered at the University of Nicosia for a total of 12-15 credit hours.
Please download the
course schedule below to view the day and time that each course is
offered to ensure that your selected courses do not conflict with each
other.
IMPORTANT: If you
are applying for Spring or Fall 2009, you can use the corresponding 2008 course schedule
below as a guide to which classes will be offered. The University of
Nicosia will release the final Spring 2009 course schedule in December and the Fall 2009 course schedule in May,
however, typically most of the classes offered in the previous year
will be offered again. When selecting courses for credit pre-approval,
you should select and pre-approve as many alternates as possible, to
avoid conflicts when the actual schedule is announced.

Teaching Methods
- All courses on the Semester in Cyprus program are University of Nicosia courses taught by University of Nicosia faculty using University of Nicosia syllabi on
the University of Nicosia campus. The University of Nicosia issues the transcript for this
program.
- Students complement their in-class instruction with 7 days
of in-country travel in Cyprus.
- While the travel portion is a required part of this program and linked to the curriculum, it is not-for-credit.
