Hispanic Study Abroad Scholars Discount

HACU, the Hispanic Association of Colleges & Universities, has partnered with Global Learning Semesters in an effort to increase the number of Hispanic students engaged in study abroad. Over the next ten years, the goal of our far-reaching partnership, the Hispanic Global Alliance is to reduce this gap and help tens of thousands more Hispanic students study abroad.

The Hispanic Study Abroad Scholars discount is one of the main components of our partnership

Global Learning Semesters has committed to making available at least $8 million in scholarship funds to HACU students over the next ten years.

Each HACU Institution that becomes a member of the Hispanic Global Alliance will be able to nominate at least one Hispanic Study Abroad Scholar each semester. The discounts are for $1,000 and represent as much as 33% of host institution tuition. This discount can be combined with other forms of financial aid.

We believe this discount will improve the affordability of study abroad for HACU students : with the HSAS discount, some Global Learning Semesters programs are among the best-priced comprehensive study abroad programs in Europe.
